COBIT is a framework for the Enterprise Governance and Management of Information and Technology (EGIT) that supports enterprise goals achievement. This one-day bridge course highlights the concepts, models and key definitions of the new framework and explains the differences between this recent release of COBIT 2019 with COBIT 5.

Audience

This Bridge Course is intended for current COBIT 5 Foundation Certificate holders who are interested in understanding the key differences between COBIT 5 and COBIT 2019.

The COBIT 2019 Foundation certificate and the COBIT 2019 Bridge certificate are the mandatory entry points for everybody interested in obtaining the COBIT 2019 Design & Implementation certificate.

Pre-requirements

Students must be a current COBIT 5 Foundation certificate holder. The COBIT 5 Foundation certificate must be issued by one of ISACAs accreditation bodies (APMG or PeopleCert).

Official COBIT® 2019 Bridge exam (40 minutes)

Exam

The official COBIT 2019 Bridge exam is included in our training package.

The exam is an online proctored or paper based and is designed to test the learner’s knowledge of the COBIT framework as opposed to memorization and tied to the learning objectives of the course. The exam will be an online proctored exam administered through APMG. The exam format will include:

  • 20 questions
  • Multiple choice
  • 40 minutes
  • One correct answer for each question, using three choices (A, B or C)
  • Pass rate is 75%, or 15/20 questions

Upon successfully achieving the COBIT 2019 Foundation certificate, the student will be recognized with 7 Professional Development Units (PDU’S).

The exam is only available in English.

The COBIT 2019 Foundation ou COBIT 2019 Bridge certificate is prerequisite for all other COBIT 2019 exams including the COBIT 2019 Design & Implementation certificate.

The COBIT 2019 Bridge (1 day) (ISACA/APMG) is led by Alain BONNEAUD (CISA®, CISM™, CGEIT®, COBIT®, ITIL®, PRINCE2®, ISO 27001, ISO 27005). Alain is one of the few consultants in the world with proven experience in implementing IS Governance programs based on COBIT®. He also holds the "Certified COBIT® 5 Assessor" certification issued by ISACA®.

Alain Bonneaud is an international expert in the field of IT service management best practices and standards (ITIL®, ISO/IEC 20000, Lean IT), Information System Governance (COBIT®, ISO/IEC 38500) and information security and risk management (ISO/IEC 27001, RESILIA ™, ISO/IEC 27005). PRINCE2® certified, Alain regularly works as a "Governance and Transformation Senior Manager" with major international groups to assist them in the implementation of IS Governance and IT Service Management (ITSM). ) and the implementation and/or audit of their information security management system. He has also been accredited for several years to deliver ITIL® (Foundation, Intermediate and MALC), RESILIA ™, Lean IT, ISO/IEC 20000, ISO/IEC 27001, ISO/IEC 27005 and COBIT® certifying training courses.

Alain is also Head of Delegation of Ivory Coast to ISO and, in this context, he is co-editor of ISO/IEC 27013 (Integrated Implementation of ISO 20000 and ISO 27001 in Enterprise, published in 2013) and ISO 20000.
